EBU Bars Conflict-Involved States From Hosting Eurovision Under New 2027 Rules

The European Broadcasting Union announced that broadcasters will be ineligible to host Eurovision if their state is involved in an armed conflict or "sensitive geopolitical situation." An independent security body will assess winners in borderline cases; ineligible winners lose hosting rights to an alternative broadcaster.
