Gemini App Reaches 1 Billion Monthly Active Users

Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced the Gemini app has surpassed 1 billion monthly active users, making it the 14th Google product to reach that threshold. Pichai called Gemini the company's fastest growing product ever. The figure covers the standalone app only, excluding Search and Workspace integrations. Gemini trails ChatGPT, which hit 1 billion in June 2026, by roughly two months.
