Kyoto Fusioneering Raises $121M, Moves U.S. HQ to Oak Ridge for World's First Breeding Blanket Demo

Kyoto Fusioneering has raised $121 million and is relocating its U.S. headquarters to Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to build Unity-3 with Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The facility will test a breeding blanket — which harvests reactor heat while generating tritium fuel — a component no commercial fusion plant can operate without. DOE and Tennessee provided grants.
