U.S. House votes again to end Iran military action

The U.S. House voted 214–208 on July 23, 2026, to order the President to end military hostilities against Iran (H.Con.Res.38), led by Rep. Pramila Jayapal. A few Republicans joined Democrats. The House rejected a similar measure in March, passed one in June, and now passed again. A Senate version (S.J.Res.59) was expected the same day.
