U.S. House again votes to halt Iran hostilities, 214–208
The U.S. House voted 214–208 on July 23, 2026, to direct the President to terminate military hostilities against Iran (H.Con.Res.38), led by Rep. Pramila Jayapal. A few Republicans joined Democrats. The chamber rejected a similar measure in March before passing one in June and again now. A Senate companion (S.J.Res.59) was expected the same day.
