Hong Sangsoo's Locarno triple-winner 'Nowhere to Lay My Eyes' sells to six territories ahead of Toronto

Finecut closed deals for Hong Sangsoo's 35th feature across six territories: North America (Cinema Guild), the U.K. (ICA), Spain (Atalante), China (Hugoeast), Austria (Filmgarten) and Taiwan (Cola Films), per Variety. The film won three prizes at Locarno's 79th edition — Best Direction, Best Performance and the Ecumenical Jury Prize. A North American premiere follows at the 2026 New York Film Festival.
