Te Kira Lawrence switches to NZ First's Napier candidacy

Napier councillor Te Kira Lawrence will stand for New Zealand First in Napier, moving from her earlier selection as East Coast candidate. She replaces Stuart Nash, who quit after calling National MP Katie Nimon "lazy" for taking parental leave — a remark widely condemned across Parliament as sexist.
