Te Kira Lawrence to run for NZ First in Napier

Napier councillor Te Kira Lawrence will run for New Zealand First in Napier, switching from her earlier pick to run in East Coast. She replaces Stuart Nash, who quit after calling National MP Katie Nimon "lazy" for taking time off to have a baby — a comment criticised by politicians from all parties as sexist.
