Mexican Tourist on Valid Visa Killed Fleeing Federal Officers Into Florida Traffic

Juan Jairo Coronilla Durán, a 28-year-old Mexican tourist vacationing in St. Augustine, Florida, died July 14 after fleeing federal officers into highway traffic, where a semi-truck struck him. He held a valid U.S. visa. His wife learned of his death from television news. DHS — the Department of Homeland Security — has not publicly identified him.
