Mexican Tourist on Valid U.S. Visa Killed After Fleeing Federal Officers Into Florida Highway Traffic

Juan Jairo Coronilla Durán, a 28-year-old Mexican tourist on a valid U.S. visa, died on July 14 after fleeing federal officers into highway traffic in St. Augustine, Florida, where he had been vacationing for two days. A semi-truck struck him. His wife learned of his death from television news. DHS has not publicly identified him.
