Safeguarding minister Natalie Fleet resigns after two months

Natalie Fleet has resigned as safeguarding minister after just over two months, telling the BBC the role was making her ill. Fleet, who was groomed and raped as a teenager, said the work was "overwhelmingly triggering" and called stepping down the "bravest thing I've ever done." She was appointed on 12 May, succeeding Jess Phillips.
