Substack's AI detection tool scans writers' posts without notifying them

Substack's July 2026 Pangram integration lets any app user check posts, comments, and replies over 100 characters for AI-generated content. Writers get no scan notification and must independently find and dispute false positives. Writers can self-check drafts and add an optional AI disclosure note, but reader-side scans run silently.
