Samsung Splits Fold Line Into Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra

Samsung's July 2026 Unpacked split its book-style foldable into two models: the Galaxy Z Fold 8 (7.6-inch screen, 50MP camera, $1,899.99) for entertainment, and the Z Fold 8 Ultra (8.0-inch screen, 200MP camera, 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, $2,099.99) for productivity. Both ship August 7, 2026. The two-tier approach mirrors Samsung's Galaxy S smartphone strategy.
