Samsung Splits Fold Line Into Two Models: Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra

At its July 2026 Unpacked, Samsung split the book-style foldable into two firsts: the entertainment-focused Galaxy Z Fold 8 (7.6-inch main screen, 50MP camera, $1,899.99) and the productivity-focused Z Fold 8 Ultra (8.0-inch main screen, 200MP camera, 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, $2,099.99). Both launch August 7, 2026. The tiering mirrors Samsung's Galaxy S smartphone strategy.
