Israel Turns Gaza Ceasefire Line Into a Physical Barrier

Israel is building a miles-long earthen wall with watchtowers inside Gaza along the Yellow Line — a ceasefire withdrawal marker. OCHA data shows the line now spans 64.9% of the Strip. Israeli officials have called it "quiet annexation." Deutsche Welle reports it's becoming a de facto border. Nearly all of Gaza's 2.1 million people remain displaced.
