Israel is constructing a miles-long earthen barrier with watchtowers inside Gaza along the Yellow Line — originally a ceasefire withdrawal marker. OCHA data shows the line now covers 64.9% of the Strip. Israeli officials have described their actions as "creeping" or "quiet" annexation.
