Snap Settles Social Media Addiction Lawsuit, Leaving Meta as Last Defendant

Snap has tentatively settled the R.K.C. social media addiction lawsuit ahead of a July 2026 jury trial in Los Angeles, Bloomberg reported and Snap confirmed. Terms were not disclosed. TikTok and YouTube previously settled, leaving Meta as the sole remaining defendant. Over 3,300 similar lawsuits are pending in California state court.
