FCC Proposes Retroactive Ban on Suspected DJI-Linked Drone Equipment

The FCC wants to ban import and sales of drone and camera products from nine companies it believes are reselling DJI equipment under new names. The ban would use a power the FCC gave itself in October 2025 to retroactively pull previously authorized gear from the market — not just future models. Public comments are open for 30 days.
