Man Charged With Murder of Former MP Under Counterterrorism Framework

Joshua Kerry, 28, was charged July 20 with murdering former MP Ann Widdecombe, 78, found dead at her Dartmoor home July 9. Kerry was additionally arrested on terror charges in custody. Counterterrorism Policing head Laurence Taylor said political motivation remains an active investigative avenue. Kerry appears at Westminster Magistrates' Court July 21.
