Darline Graham to Seek Full Senate Term After Appointment

Darline Graham, appointed to fill her late brother Lindsey Graham's Senate seat, announced on Fox News she will run for a full term in South Carolina's August 11 Republican primary. A primary is a party's internal election to pick its nominee. Trump endorsed her July 17. Lindsey Graham died July 11; state law required the decision before his funeral. Graham, 62, is the first woman to represent South Carolina in the Senate.
