Pronto, a Gurugram-based home services platform, has expanded to 150 distinct neighborhoods across Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and seven other Indian cities—up from five. The speed of growth suggests the startup has solved a longstanding puzzle in two-sided marketplaces: making the unit economics work profitably at the neighborhood level. Lachy Groom, a former Stripe partner, has backed the expansion.
