Robinhood Fund Lets Ordinary Investors Own Stakes in Private Tech Companies
Robinhood Ventures Fund I (NYSE: RVI), which went public in March 2026, opens private-company investing to any retail investor—historically limited to accredited investors with $1 million-plus net worth. Over 150,000 retail participants bought in at the IPO, bypassing traditional six-figure minimums. The fund has already deployed $75 million into OpenAI, among other stakes in Stripe and ElevenLabs.
