
Musk Escalates Legal Battle Against OpenAI and Microsoft
Elon Musk filed four lawsuits against OpenAI between February and November 2024, moving from state contract claims to federal antitrust charges involving Microsoft. After withdrawing his initial California lawsuit in June, he refiled in federal court in August with racketeering allegations, then expanded the case in November to challenge the Microsoft partnership. U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers oversees the Oakland case.
