Chalmers puts ATO credit card ban on hold to June

Treasurer Jim Chalmers will push the Tax Office's 1 December ban on paying tax bills by credit card back six months to the end of June, with extra cash to cover it. Commissioner Rob Heferen announced the ban on 1 October, saying card fees cost almost $200m a year. Small business kicked up a stink.
