
Eckert stays as Southampton boss after suspended Spygate ban
Southampton manager Tonda Eckert can stay in the dugout. An FA commission handed him a six-week ban from football, suspended until the end of next season, plus a £28,000 fine for three misconduct breaches. It activates on any further spying. Saints were expelled from May's play-offs and docked four points after admitting spying on three clubs.
