Paxton: Iran War, Fuel Costs Weigh on Republicans

In audio obtained by Axios and reported Oct. 7, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, running for Senate as a Republican, told donors at a September closed-door fundraiser in Washington, D.C., that the Iran war and gas and diesel prices are hurting Republicans ahead of the midterms. 'It's not tariffs ... it's the war, it's gas prices, it's diesel,' he said.
