Aegean Boat Monitor Founder Faces 20-Year Trial Without Attending
Tommy Olsen, 54, founder of Aegean Boat Report, which independently tracks boats in distress in the Aegean, faces trial on Rhodes on October 6, 2026. He will not attend because Norway refused extradition, or handover. If convicted he could get up to 20 years in prison. Olsen denies wrongdoing, saying he upholds the rule of law.
