Dhillon named ambassador to UAE, starts Oct. 5

Angad Singh Dhillon will become Canada's ambassador to the United Arab Emirates on Oct. 5. Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand announced the appointment, and Global Affairs spokesperson Charlotte MacLeod confirmed the start date. His formal title, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, means he has full authority to represent Canada.
