Auckland Council backs booth voting for 2028

According to RNZ, Auckland Council's Governing Body, the mayor and councillors, voted on 29 September for in-person booth voting at the 2028 local elections. Councillors debated postal voting, booth voting and a mix before backing booth voting. Mayor Wayne Brown and two councillors opposed it.
