Vietnam Holds Australian Activist Missing in Cambodia

Vietnamese authorities have detained three activists, including Tran Hiep, 50, an Australian based in Melbourne. Hiep and Nguyen Duc Thuan, who holds a Norwegian passport, went missing in Cambodia on 18 September while traveling to Kaoh Andaet. Hiep had gone to Phnom Penh to meet human rights defenders and had not contacted his wife since 18 September.
