Judge denies dismissal, lets FTC ticket resale case against Ticketmaster proceed

Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong denied Ticketmaster's motion to dismiss the FTC's resale lawsuit on Sept. 28. The order says the claims under the Better Online Ticket Sales (BOTS) Act are legally sufficient to proceed, without deciding truth. Ticketmaster and parent Live Nation now face discovery. Ticketmaster called the case misguided.
