Auckland Council votes for booth voting in 2028

According to RNZ, Auckland Council's Governing Body voted on 29 September to move to in-person booth voting for the 2028 local elections. Councillors debated postal voting, booth voting and a combination before backing booth voting. Mayor Wayne Brown and two councillors opposed the move.
