PS5 Gets Linux Access Through New Exploit on Older Models

A published exploit chain now allows Linux to run directly on PlayStation 5 consoles with firmware versions 3.xx and 4.xx. The hack bypasses Sony's security layers and grants access to the console's processor and graphics hardware outside normal restrictions. Early PS5 models that skipped automatic updates remain vulnerable; newer hardware revisions have patched the vulnerability.
