No dog licences for Great Britain

Ministers said dog owners in England, Wales and Scotland will not need a paid licence. The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the Westminster department responsible, said no scheme will be introduced. The decision came with its Responsible Dog Ownership taskforce report on 24 September. Northern Ireland owners still need a licence.
