Vardy joins winless, bottom-of-the-Championship Burnley as free agent

Jamie Vardy has joined Burnley until the end of the season, the club confirmed on 6 September. The 39-year-old, available after leaving Italian side Cremonese this summer, links up with Nicky Hayen's squad who sit bottom of the Championship without a win. Vardy is Leicester City's record Premier League scorer with 145 goals.
