A24 Acquires 174-Mute Mystery Film for Telluride Surprise Slot

A24 has acquired worldwide rights to a 174-minute hybrid documentary for the 53rd Telluride Film Festival's surprise slot, Deadline reported on 6 September 2026. Phones will be locked in Yondr pouches at the Herzog theatre, Telluride's largest venue, with a Q&A after the screening. A24 acquired the film competitively and declined to comment.
