Netflix's 'Possible Love' enters Venice competition and Oscar race as South Korea's pick

South Korea has submitted Netflix's 'Possible Love' for the International Feature Oscar at the 99th Academy Awards, KOFIC announced on 28 August 2026. Lee Chang-dong's first film in eight years is also in Venice's 83rd competition, vying for the Golden Lion. South Korea last won the category with 'Parasite' in 2020.
