Qualcomm backs Ultrahuman's shift from Nordic chips, betting smart rings become finger-worn computers

Ultrahuman will swap its Nordic Semiconductor chip for Qualcomm silicon in a new ring, shifting the form factor from passive health sensor toward independent compute device. Qualcomm Ventures led a $70 million round at a $365 million valuation. Bengaluru-based Ultrahuman has sold roughly 800,000 rings and reports a $140 million annual revenue run rate.
