Qualcomm backs Ultrahuman's shift from Nordic chips, betting smart rings become finger-worn computers

Ultrahuman will replace its Nordic Semiconductor chip with Qualcomm silicon in a new ring, moving the form factor from passive health sensor toward independent compute device. The partnership accompanies a $70 million round led by Qualcomm Ventures at a $365 million valuation. Bengaluru-based Ultrahuman has sold roughly 800,000 rings and reports a $140 million annual revenue run rate.
