Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has replaced Dame Priti Patel as shadow foreign secretary with Tom Tugendhat, the BBC reported. Patel said on X she would stay on as MP for Witham and focus on building ties with centre-right parties abroad. The change follows Claire Coutinho's maternity leave and Sir James Cleverly's departure to seek the London mayoralty.
