One Nation claims first WA lower house seat in Secret Harbour byelection

One Nation's Luke Herdegen has beaten Labor's Georgia Tree in the Secret Harbour state byelection — Pauline Hanson's party's first lower house seat in WA. One Nation took 39.1% of the primary vote to Labor's 24.4%, a 22.1-point swing against the government. WA One Nation leader Rod Caddies declared: "There are no safe Labor seats in this state or in this country any more."
