Lambda Raises $1B Private Debt to Buy Nvidia Chips for Microsoft Lease

Lambda secured $1 billion in short-term debt arranged by JP Morgan Chase to buy Nvidia AI chips it will lease to Microsoft. The GPUs and the contracted lease revenue serve as collateral. The deal is effectively project finance for compute infrastructure — banks are underwriting contracted cash flows, not the company itself.
