BLS Preliminary Payroll Benchmark for March 2026 Due Today

The BLS releases its preliminary payroll benchmark revision at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. The last revision cut employment growth through March 2025 by 862,000 jobs — 0.6% of nonfarm payrolls, triple the historical average. May and June 2026 monthly prints were also revised down. Markets and the Fed watch for another large downside adjustment.
