Government Jobs Data Gets a Fact-Check Today

The government rechecks its jobs numbers at 10:00 a.m. Eastern today. Last time, it cut earlier job-growth estimates by 862,000 — triple the usual correction. May and June 2026 figures were also trimmed. Wall Street and the Federal Reserve are watching for another big downward fix.
