
Deadly Glacier Collapse Near Nepal-Tibet Border: 168 Killed, Hundreds Stranded
A glacier collapse near the Nepal-Tibet border on August 26 has killed at least 168 people, with over 1,300 missing. More than 100 Indian pilgrims on the Mount Kailash route are among them, and around 600 Indian nationals are stranded in Taklakot on the Tibetan side. India's Ministry of External Affairs has set up a Special Control Room and is coordinating with Nepal and China on evacuation.
