Pakistan and Kuwait Deepen Defence Ties with Training and Border Pact

Pakistan and Kuwait signed the Protocol Agreement-2026 on August 28 in Rawalpindi. Pakistan's military will train Kuwaiti forces, share intelligence, run joint exercises, and help manage Kuwait's border with Iraq, according to analyst Umer Karim. The accord follows a framework Kuwait ratified in July 2026, deepening a security relationship rooted in shared regional concerns.
