Pakistan and Kuwait Sign Defence Protocol: Pakistani Forces to Train Kuwaiti Military and Help Secure Iraq Border

Pakistan and Kuwait signed the Protocol Agreement-2026 on August 28 in Rawalpindi. Under it, Pakistan's armed forces will train Kuwait's military, share intelligence, conduct joint exercises, and assist border management — including a specific role in securing Kuwait's border with Iraq, according to analyst Umer Karim. The accord builds on a framework ratified by Kuwait in July 2026.
