Senate Democrats Map 100 Scenarios for Possible Trump Interference in 2026 Midterms

A Senate Democratic task force of at least 11 senators is tracking roughly 100 scenarios in which President Trump could undermine the November 2026 midterms, NPR reported. The list includes a national election emergency declaration and federal law enforcement at polling places. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer announced the task force in April 2026.
