Senate Democrats Watching for Ways Trump Could Disrupt 2026 Elections

At least 11 Senate Democrats formed a group to track about 100 ways President Trump could interfere with the November 2026 congressional elections, NPR reported. Their list includes declaring a national emergency and sending federal officers to voting sites. Senator Chuck Schumer announced the effort in April 2026.
