Nepal-Tibet Border Floods Kill 469, With 1,300+ Still Missing

Nepal police confirmed 469 deaths from August 26 flash floods and landslides along the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river basins near the Nepal-Tibet border. Over 1,300 remain unaccounted for. Experts suspect a glacier collapse triggered the disaster. The toll has tripled since 157 bodies were recovered two days earlier.
